Education highlights
Having completed his O/L and A/L examinations at Royal College, where he served as Head Prefect, Kavisha is currently pursuing his educational journey as a first-year student at the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, where he is pursuing a BSc. in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Simultaneously, he is a second-year student at the University of London, working towards an LLB (Bachelors of Law).
Roles and responsibilities at Connect-to-care
Kavisha’s journey with Connect to Care began as an intern, and he quickly progressed to his current position as a Senior Consultant. Notably, he plays a pivotal role in the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Project, working closely alongside the Chairman. Kavisha’s role at Connect to Care encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, demonstrating his versatility and commitment to the organization’s diverse projects. His key responsibilities include the Nutrition Project management as
well as providing valuable support to projects spanning Agriculture, Climate Change, Financial Services for the poor, and Policy development.
Kavisha’s competence extends to various aspects of Connect to Care’s activities. He brings valuable skills to the table with expertise in strategic partnership facilitation, navigating complex landscapes, holistic project management, timely progress management, strategic advocacy, and effective communication to help the organization achieve its goals. Kavisha is not only a dedicated consultant but also plays a crucial role in intern management, assisting the Chairman in mentoring and guiding the next generation of social impact leaders. He is also actively engaged in the projects Mithuru Mithuro Project and the Roshan Mahanama Trust Project, demonstrating his dedication to making a real difference in the community.
